Hello everyone.

This is Kimura-san, your indie-videogame-making Uncle.
As you know, I’m currently hard at work developing a new RPG.
Today, I want to talk about “secret bases”.

I have a secret base in my mind.
It’s a secret place I’ve had since childhood.
A place of solitude.

That feeling of being under an empty bridge.
That feeling of being in an abandoned house where no one lives.

It’s a place where solitude is normal.

It’s like a wooden box where you stash magazines you find.
It’s like that secret place you only tell your closest friends about.

It’s a place where you can find real “freedom”.

It seems like, even after I grew up, I can’t stop creating these “secret bases”.

Both where I do my own game development, and in the games I make.

For me, it’s exactly the same as those “secret bases” from when I was just a child.

When I make this latest one you see here, I hope you’ll come and play there.

Recently, I’ve been thinking that maybe it’s enough if my games are only played by people who already know that they’re going to like them.

These games are my personal creations that I’m sharing with you.
It makes me happy if you’re interested in them.

Anyway!

There’s also this imaginary building I’ve been dreaming about for a long time. Maybe this is another “secret base”?

There’s a bath house on the roof, a bar on the third floor…
Below that, that’s where we make our games…

There’s a place to play board games together on the first floor, and a ping-pong table in the basement.

It’s my own “secret base”.
I hope some day I can build a place like this in real life.
